13 months and 10 fingers!

Well, now you can finally see the end results of Benjamin's surgeries.  He has all 5 fingers on his left hand.  It looks pretty different from a normal hand, though, because his fingers are all used to being squished together like they were before the surgeries.  It will take some work to get him to be able to spread them out and use them normally, especially his thumb which likes to stay tucked under.  However, the fingers look great and we're excited for him!  Even though he can't do a lot with his hand now, he does like to pick things up and hold them with his hand (see pictures below).  Here are a few pictures of his hand from different angles.

Benjamin's latest thing is to point to things and comment on them (in his own babble sort of way).  His favorite things to point to lately are anything outside (especially animals), lights (on or off), our picture of the temple, and holiday decorations.  He also likes pointing to things he recognizes in books.  Benjamin also loves snuggling with teddy bears, dancing to music, and books!  We love our little boy!
